Sworn Positions
- Lateral Police Officer- An applicant who possesses a current POST Basic Certificate and has a minimum of one-year experience with a California law enforcement agency.
- Entry Level Police Officer- An applicant who has completed a POST Approved Police Academy.
- Recruit Officer- Upon appointment, attends a designated POST Approved Police Academy.
