💼 Top-Tier Salary & Total Compensation

We recognize the value of experienced professionals and ensure they’re rewarded accordingly. Lateral officers start at a salary step that reflects their sworn years of service and relevant experience, so you're never starting from scratch.

A typical monthly compensation at the top step includes:

• Base Pay: $9,859
• Education Incentive: Up to 6.75%
  • 4.25% for a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Additional 2.5% for a Master’s Degree
• Longevity Pay: Up to 10%
  • 5% at 10 years of sworn POST service
  • 7.5% at 12 years
  • 10% at 15 years
• POST Certificate Pay: Up to 9.85%
  • 4.85% for an Intermediate POST Certificate
  • 5% for an Advanced POST Certificate
• Fitness Incentive: $27.50 per pay period
• Career Enhancement & Wellness Reimbursement: $1,000 annually
